The house is located in the Albaycin, one of the oldest and undoubtedly most atmospheric parts of the city. With typical white-washed Andalucian houses, flower-filled patios and tiny tabernas, this quintessential Granada barrio clambers up the hill overlooking the Alhambra. The Mirador de San Nicolas at the very top of the hill is the place to go in th early evening as the sun sets spectacularly over the Alhambra. The Albaycin is tranquil and quiet, and gives visitors a unique the opportunity to soak up the city’s history and charm.

Furnished and decorated with the utmost care by the owner, this beautiful house is an effortless blend of classical Andalusian style and modern comforts and conveniences. Split over three levels, it is at once spacious and intimate. The open-plan living and dining room is bright and welcoming, and has been furnished in a discrete traditional style with original Andalusian furnishings and decoration. Wooden beams, tiled flooring, quality wooden furniture and an original fireplace make this a wonderful space to relax or enjoy a meal. The kitchen is in keeping with the classic Spanish style but has been fully-equipped with all modern appliances and everything guests may need during their stay.

Each of the bedrooms has been individually decorated. There are 3 bedrooms are on the top floor, 2 of which offer breath-taking views of the Alhambra. The master bedroom also boasts a small terrace, perfect for enjoying breakfast or an after-dinner drink. The second bedroom features a double-bed and a small balcony and the third bedroom downstairs features two single-beds with a window view. The kitchen and living room areas are located downstairs where there is access to the swimming pool. The bathrooms are bright and elegant, with local tiles and fittings.

The exterior of the property is equally charming, with a front garden complete with small swimming pool, fish pond and fountain and dining area. The roof-top terrace is a real highlight – with unbeatable views to the Alhambra and Sierra Nevada, guests can enjoy an al-fresco meal with a difference. The house has an underground garage, or alternatively guests can make use of the bus that stops almost on the doorstep of the house, and which will take them directly to the heart of the city.

Accommodation and Facilities

The house has 3 levels and is accessed from the top and going down 2 flights of steps. Access is through the hall with the twin bedroom on the left (0.90m x 1.90m). From the hall, there are stairs leading down to the lower level: living room, dining room and kitchen are on this level. The living area has three-seater sofa and two easy chairs with coffee table in the center and open fireplace. Flat screen TV on the wall. The dining area has tables and chairs to seat 8. The kitchen is separate and is fully equipped with gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher. The fridge and freezer are situated in the pantry, accessed from the kitchen. The outdoor garden can be accesses from the living area and from the kitchen. On the ground level there is a bathroom with a bathtub. Right of the hall level, up two steps, we have two double bedrooms (1.40m x 1.90m) with en suite bathrooms with bathtubs. Both of these bedrooms have views of La Alhambra and one of them has a small terrace with a table and two chairs. All bedrooms are fitted cupboards. On the third level we have the office space with desk and book space, views of the Alhambra and door to access the rooftop terrace. Grounds: the front garden has a private pool 4m x 5m, table and chairs to seat 6 people and a fish pond with gold fish. Rooftop terrace has table and chairs to seat 6 people.

Booking Conditions
We ask our clients to pay a refundable security deposit of € 300 before arrival to the apartment. We will refund the deposit within seven days of your departure provided that the property has not been damaged.
